I can remember when I was a little girl I would watch my mom and grandmothers drink coffee and I would think they were SO cool. I just couldn’t wait to grow up and drink this “big girl” drink. But now that I’m all grown up…I HATE hot coffee, lol! No matter how hard I’ve tried to love it, I just can’t. Cold coffee is an ENTIRELY different matter. I’m totally addicted, and today I want to share with you my favorite cold coffee recipes. I’ve included links to all three recipes that you can print off, and I’ve also included printable recipe cards at the end of this post if you want some cute recipe cards! Just be sure to resize to your desired dimensions when you print. So let’s get started!
My newest favorite coffee find is the Frosted Coffee. I actually came across the recipe accidentally – I was googling healthy shake recipes, of all things, and this recipe showed up. So instead of trying out kale shakes, I tried out this coffee shake and have gained weight instead of losing! Story of my life! This is a favorite because it literally takes five minutes and is hassle free. I just use my keurig to make a cup of coffee when I first wake up, and while I’m letting it cool down to room temperature I take out my ice cream and let it soften a bit – then blend the two and viola, the perfect frosted coffee! It’s so delicious! You can download the recipe HERE.
Several months ago at Christmas I shared this AMAZING Coffee Slush recipe that a sweet friend shared with me. This is one of my favorites to make when I’m going to be hosting a party, and it’s also perfect for the holidays. I love that this one can make up a big batch and be thrown in the freezer until you’re ready for it. Oftentimes I will freeze this in smaller individual bags so that it doesn’t have to unthaw in a large gallon bag just for a single serving. I will say that this recipe says to take it out one to two hours before serving, but mine usually takes around 3 hours to thaw out (for the gallon bag). So keep that in mind if you’re serving it for a party! You can download the recipe HERE.
The last recipe I want to share is my everyday iced coffee. I have one of these almost daily, unless I’m trying to diet (which is extremely rare, if I’m honest, lol). This is super easy and oh so basic! I just make a cup of coffee in my keurig, fill up an eight ounce cup with ice, and I don’t even let my coffee cool off – I just pour up my coffee, pour in the half and half, and then top it off with chocolate syrup. Lots and lots of chocolate syrup – more than the recipe calls for, ha! You can download that recipe HERE.
My sister recently shared a whipped coffee recipe with me that I can’t wait to try, so you may see another coffee recipe from me in the near future, but for now these are the top three on my list! Lastly, just wanted to share these printable recipe cards if you want to write your own recipes on them. You can click on the image and it will take you directly to the PDF. Hope you have fun whipping up some of these coffee favorites! Happy Wednesday!
I can’t not wait to try these iced coffee recipes. I am all about the iced over hot any day. Just have to say these recipe cards are adorable too.
Same here! Hope you enjoy these ☺️
